Desert Unicorn - The 4x4 Porsche 911 that swallowed African deserts.

Introduced in 1984 as an all-wheel-drive 911 on stilts, the 953 represents the first wave of Porsche’s blietzkrieg on the Dakar Rally and a test bed for the more known and more successful 959 - that would go on to take the 1-2 victory in 1986. Still, it was able to take overall 1st place in its only one and only Dakar presence at the hands of René Metge.
Perhaps the best looking rally car ever, in its unforgettable Rothmans livery.
