Porsche Intelligent Performance is the overarching brand philosophy of Porsche, focused on combining maximum sportiness with maximum efficiency.

The Core Philosophy This philosophy forms the basis for the development of modern vehicle concepts and posits that performance and sustainability are not mutually exclusive.

The principle is simple: more power with less fuel, higher efficiency, and lower emissions, both on the track and on the road.

Although the term has since evolved into "E-Performance," around 2010 it was the driving force behind the introduction of Porsche's hybrid technology:

Porsche 918 Spyder: It was the "pioneer" of this philosophy. It proved that a hypercar could be extremely fast (0-100 km/h in about 3 seconds) while achieving a consumption of only 3 liters per 100 km.

Motorsport: The philosophy was prominently showcased on the 911 GT3 R Hybrid and the 919 Hybrid Le Mans racer, where braking energy was recovered to provide extra power ('boost').

Other Models: The early hybrid versions of the Cayenne S Hybrid and the Panamera were also presented under this label.
